Construction is set to begin within a year…
According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), Dubai Creek Tower, one of the (many) record-breaking buildings in Dubai, is currently undergoing a renovation.
Although the reasoning behind the huge project's change is unknown, Emaar anticipates announcing the revised idea by no later than April 2024.
In October 2016, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum celebrated the tower's groundbreaking, which was originally scheduled to be finished by 2021.
The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 was also designed by Spanish-Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava, who also created the Dubai Creek Tower.
The tower's construction has been put on hold since 2020. Mohamed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar Properties, told WAM that they plan to begin building by August 2024, three years from now.
